
Comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan are back for a third series – bigger, better and more tested than ever! They’re on a journey of discovery to find out what they like and what they don’t.
Fresh off a receiving a BAFTA nomination for S2 of Rob and Romesh Vs, this series the duo are taking on the world of art, golf and drag before immersing themselves in Olympic sport with a double-whammy of Team GB challenges. To round things off they spend time with tennis legend Andy Murray before reliving the best bits from the past three series.

Episode 1: Rob & Romesh Vs Art
Series 3 kicks off with the duo delving into the world of art, with the pair heading off to an art school before tackling their challenge which will see them both present a piece of art at the renowned Saatchi Gallery. To get started they head to one of the world’s most famous gallery’s - The National Gallery - where they meet Lachlan Goudie for a crash course in art history. Wanting to show them something more contemporary, Lachlan takes the duo to South London to a modern exhibition. There he sets them both a challenge to create a piece of art which will be exhibited in the Saatchi Gallery.
The duo, in search for some inspiration, head to Art Academy London where Rob Pepper takes them through a variety of art disciplines. After the session, the pair join Quilla Constance for an exploration into performance art. As the saying goes, if you can’t beat them, join them and Rob & Rom waste no time getting stuck in. Minutes later they’re dressed in colourful feather boas, screaming whilst holding a champagne flute of spaghetti hoops.
Finally, the time has come for Rob & Rom to debut their art pieces with Lachlan back to judge their creations. Has the past couple of weeks turned them into the next Picasso? You’ll have to tune in and see!
Who is Lachlan Goudie?
Lachlan Goudie is a Scottish artist and TV presenter. His artistic range is broad, painting portraits, landscapes and still life with his paintings having received numerous awards – including being exhibited in London, Edinburgh and New York.
In Rob & Romesh Vs Art, Lachlan takes the pair for a whistle-stop tour round the National explaining the history of the paintings and trying to encourage Rob & Rom’s inner art historian out.
Who is Rob Pepper?
Rob Pepper is a British artist who is a member of Art Academy London and regularly exhibits his work across the world. In this episode of Rob Vs Romesh he takes the pair through a range of art disciplines in the hope of providing them with inspiration for their final art piece.
Who is Quilla Constance?
Jennifer Allen, known professionally as Quilla Constance, is a British contemporary interdisciplinary artist. She created her Quilla Constance persona soon after completing her master’s degree and has since staged interventions across a range of disciplines – with her live performances work being highly praised.
In Rob & Romesh Vs Art, Quilla introduces the pair to the disciple of performance art and even participates in Romesh’s final art piece.

Episode 2: Rob & Romesh Vs Golf
In this episode, Rob & Romesh are taking on the ultimate retirement sport - golf. They’ll meet top professionals and learn how to play, before taking on the final challenge where they’ll tee off at the world-famous PGA Championship. With Rob having recently taken up the sport, he’s keen for Romesh to become his new golfing buddy and what better way to introduce him to his new hobby than by spending the day at Wentworth caddying for golfers, Marcus Armitage and Andrew Johnston.
After rubbing shoulders with the professionals at Wentworth, it’s time for Rob & Rom to step up to the tee and where better than legendary golf course, St. Andrew’s. By a stroke of luck Romesh manages to hit the ball and away they go, working their way around the course that many can only dream of playing on.
Finally, the pair are back at Wentworth for the PGA Championship where they’ll be going head-to-head in a tee off challenge which will see who can hit the ball furthest. But before the challenge there’s time for a quick lesson from Justin Rose!
Who is Marcus Armitage?
Marcus Armitage is an English professional golfer. He has won three times on the EuroPro Tour and in 2021 he became a Guinness World Record holder after breaking the record for the ‘farthest golf shot caught in a moving car’.
Who is Andrew Johnston?
Andrew Johnston is an English professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. Since childhood he has been known by the nickname ‘Beef’, something which has carried over into his golfing career.
Who is Justin Rose?
Justin Rose is an English professional golfer. He has 11 PGA Tour and 11 DP World Tour wins and an Olympic Gold medal from the 2016 Olympic Games. In 2013, he secured a Major win at the US Open. Where did Rob and Romesh play golf?
Rob & Romesh headed up to Scotland to play at legendary golf course, St Andrew’s.

Episode 3: Rob & Romesh Vs Drag
In episode 3, Rob & Romesh embrace their inner divas and prepare to take to the stage as drag superstars. The duo, joined by fellow comedian and judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Alan Carr, head to a drag show so they can find out what they’re in for. There they meet the crème-de-la-crème of Drag Race, The Vivienne and Baga Chipz.
To get prepared for their moment on stage, Rob & Romesh head to drag bootcamp where they spend the afternoon transforming themselves into drag queens - with Romesh committing to the cause by shaving off his beard. Next up they meet fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race UK judge Michelle Visage to get some tips on how to nail their walk.
With an outfit and attitude sorted, they’re missing one key element – content. To rectify this, Rob & Rom get paired up with drag queens Dolly Trolley and Cara Melle to learn a routine. With all this rehearsal time under their belts, Rob & Rom are ready to take to the stage as their alter-ego’s.
Who is Alan Carr?
Alan Carr is an English comedian, presenter and judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. In Rob & Romesh Vs Drag, Alan takes the duo to Birmingham where they experience their very first drag night.
Who is The Vivienne?
The Vivienne is a Welsh drag queen, who won the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
Who is Baga Chipz?
Baga Chipz is an English drag queen best known for competing on the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
Who is Michelle Visage?
Michelle Visage is an American singer, TV presenter and actress. She gained recognition as a member of a musical group in the late 80’s and in 2011 joined American reality competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race, having served as judge since series 3. As the queen of fierce, Michelle is enlisted to help teach Rob & Rom how to nail their walk ahead of their drag performance.
Who is Dolly Trolley?
Dolly Trolley is a Yorkshire-born drag queen. Since debuting in early 2017, she quickly became a household name in the UK drag scene known for her high energy performances. Paired with Rob, Dolly Trolley helps him create his drag routine.
Who is Cara Melle?
Cara Melle is an American drag queen, known for often performing with her drag sister and best friend, Tayce. In Rob & Romesh Vs Drag, she helps Romesh create his routine.
Is Romesh Ranganathan married?
Yes, Romesh is married to his wife Leesa. During Rob & Romesh Vs Drag, Lisa briefly appears via FaceTime when Rob calls her to show off Romesh’s newly shaved face.

Episode 4: Rob & Romesh Vs Andy Murray
In this episode, Rob and Romesh hang out with British sporting legend and tennis superstar, Sir Andy Murray. Along the way they’ll see what it takes to become a champion on the court. To kick off their time with Andy, Rob & Rom head to the National Tennis Centre where Andy is busy shooting for his fashion brand.
The following day the pair return to the tennis centre where Andy and his team are ready to put them through their paces and show them what it takes to be a professional in the sport. After some quick drills, it’s time for a game of doubles where Rob & Rom get the chance to demonstrate their newly acquired skills – or lack off.
Having borrowed a mate’s dog, Romesh and Rob meet with Andy for a dog walk round his local park and take the opportunity to get some juicy gossip from Andy. Having warmed up to the pair after spending some time with them both, Andy invites them to join him on a bike ride – one of his favourite hobbies. In minutes Rob has been left behind, while Romesh (on an electric bike) struggles to keep up with Andy.
Who is Andy Murray?
Andy Murray is a Scottish tennis player, who was one of tennis’ lead players during the 2010s. To date, he has one three Grand Slam titles and two men’s singles Olympic gold medals. In 2013, Andy won the Wimbledon Championships and became the first British male to win the title in 77 years.

Episode 5: Rob & Romesh Vs Team GB (Part 1)
With the Tokyo Olympic Games just around the corner, Rob & Rom are on a mission to see if they have what it takes to join the ranks of Team GB. To do this, they’ve recruited some of the nations best athletes to help them out. First up is canoe slalom, where renowned canoers Kimberley Woods and Mallory Franklin teach them the basics before they attempt to slalom down a 300m white water course.
Next up on the pair’s shortlist of Olympic sports to try is weightlifting. They head to Nottingham to meet Sarah Davies and Emily Campbell, who put them through their paces with some basic lifting techniques. But the session is cut short when Rob decides that weightlifting is not his sport and calls it a day.
And finally, it’s time for some hockey. Rob & Romesh are off to join Team GB Women’s team who are riding high after their gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Amy Tennant and Maddie Hinch are tasked with teaching Rob & Rom the skills required to keep them alive on the pitch. And it’s here that Romesh finds his sport. A 5-a-side match later, with Rob & Rom both in goal, it’s clear that this could be the sport for Romesh. But with many sports left to try the boys continue on their journey…
Who is Kimberley Woods?
Kimberley Woods is a British slalom canoeist, who was part of the team at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. She has won a total of 9 individual World Cup medals.
Who is Mallory Franklin?
Mallory Franklin is a British slalom canoeist, who made history in 2021 when she became a silver medallist in the inaugural women’s C1 class at the Tokyo Olympics.
Who is Sarah Davies?
Sarah Davies is a British weightlifter who competes in the 64kg and 69kg categories, representing England and Great Britain. In 2021 at the World Weightlifting Championships, she won the silver medal in the women’s 71kg event.
Who is Emily Campbell?
Emily Campbell is a British weightlifter who competes for England and Team GB. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics she secured a historic victory, becoming the winner of Team GB’s first ever medal in women’s weightlifting when she secured silver in the +87kg category.
Who is Amy Tennant?
Amy Tennant is a hockey player who currently plays for England in the position of goalkeeper. In 2018, Amy was part of the England squad who won a Commonwealth bronze medal.
Who is Maddie Hinch?
Maddie Hinch is an English former hockey player, who played as a goalkeeper for England and Team GB. In 2016, she won Olympic gold medal in Rio – being praised for saving all four penalties in the final shoot-out against The Netherlands.

Episode 6: Rob & Romesh Vs Team GB (Part 2)
In Part 2 of Rob & Romesh Vs Team GB the pair are still working through their shortlist of sports, hoping to find the one they were born to do. First up is gymnastics, with Max Whitlock tasked with putting the duo through the paces to see if they have strength or flexibility to make it in the sport. Spoiler alert: they have neither!
Next stop on the quest to unleash their inner Olympians is throwing events. To ensure they don’t risk injury to themselves or someone else, Rob & Rom meet with Denise Lewis and Taylor Campbell who coach them through javelin (with Rob discovering he’s a natural), shotput, hammer throw and discus.
Their final hope lies in clay pigeon shooting, with Aaron Heading called in to coach the duo. And once again Romesh has found a sport he excels in, amazing everyone by shooting 10 clays in a row. But when the pair take to the Olympic course, Rob comes alive clinching the win in a head-to-head battle.
Who is Max Whitlock?
Max Whitlock is a British artistic gymnast, with fourteen medals and six titles in Olympic and world championships to his name. He made history at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio when he won Team GB’s first medal in the all-around event for 108 years.
Who is Denise Lewis?
Denise Lewis is a former Team GB track and field athlete, who specialised in the heptathlon. She won gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and bronze at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Who is Taylor Campbell?
Taylor Campbell is a British athlete whose chosen discipline is the hammer throw, winning a bronze medal at the 2019 Summer Universiade.
Who is Aaron Heading?
Aaron Heading is a clay-pigeon shooter and a four-time Commonwealth Games medallist.
